It was days after the heavy yellow rain fall in mid April. The bright blue sun shined on the blue leaves and the white flowers on the purple trees. The weather was crystal clear and the rusty smell of rain hit Kate's pale face after she activated the laser window to the flying and floating balcony. Her eyes closed, she took a deep breath to fill her lungs with the fresh blue air. The breath she took made her feel that it was the best thing that could happen to her as first thing in the morning. She felt like staying there for the rest of the day.

She could not help her tears after contacting her doctor at the satellite hospital in the orbit of Terres, the planet Kate lived on, with her eye-phone looking at the doctor's eye-card that he gave her to contact him about the result of the pregnancy test. She was pregnant and Adam was not aware, she decided to keep it to herself because there was no word from him since his birthday a week ago on planet Tigris, the third planet from the blue sun where she found out about Adam and Rachel eye-phoning each other. She left the birthday party with furious rage when she found out Rachel had his eye-card to contact him although Adam promised not to give his eye-card to anyone other than Kate.

She had to be strong now to stand on her feet. She recalled the eye-card Edward gave her. They were friends from childhood and she had the urge to share this with someone. Edward was a good listener and a close friend. Kate was aware that he liked her but he was not able to tell her because of Adam. However, Adam was gone and he wanted to approach Kate to talk about his feelings for her.

Kate grabbed Edwards eye-card and eye-phoned impatiently. Edwards image took place on the eye-tray with a big smile on his face. They decided to meet at the Jack's Diner on Granatus, the second planet from the blue sun. Kate was ready to face him to hear his feelings for her because she felt him closer since she broke up with Adam. His love was all over the blue air surrounding Kate. Then she thought about the baby she was carrying. Edward was the one and only person who could help her decide what to do with her pregnancy. She was scared and lonely because she had a few hours more to spend until they meet and she had to wait alone with the baby until she was going to hug Edward and hold him tight. He was the only one that was going to make her feel safe. She felt as if she was at the top of the gray mountain waiting Edward to climb the laser steps and give his precious love to her.

Half an hour before the meeting time she prepared herself in the laser room to travel in the blue light to planet Granatus. It took her 25 minutes to transfer herself to planet Granatus, where she was going to go into the red laser tube to go to Jack's Diner.

They met at the entrance to the diner right on time. Nobody in the system of Blue Sun was late or early for the appointments, they were precisely on time. They came into the diner to sit on floating chairs surrounding the floating table that moved around the room while they picked up their choice of green or red flower juice flying next to the bar in line order with other people floating in the diner.

The conversation went on while they were sipping their green flower juice and Kate decided to talk to Adam about the baby and Edward confirmed. Otherwise she was going to make an appointment with her doctor on the satellite hospital to have an abortion. Edward was sad that she had to go back to Adam. She eye-phoned Adam from the diner in the eye-phone room where the eye-tray was available. She was very excited but Adam sounded as if he did not care, he said he was seeing Rachel at the time being. She burst into tears at the eye-phone room. Edward went next to her and asked Kate to come to Satellite hospital with him to have an abortion and be with him for the rest of his life after all.

They got into the red laser tube and went back to Terres by traveling the blue light to transfer themselves from the laser room. Then they arrived at the Satellite Hospital and met with the doctor. The operation started immediately and the doctor said it was going to be easy because of balanced chemical reaction in Kate's body. Edward's presence kept her away from fear. After the painless and fearless operation the doctor said Kate needed to relax for about a week.

Back on planet Terres, Kate and Edward stayed together. Kate was getting better and better every other day. They reached a high level of happiness by supporting each other. A week later Edward received an eye-phone from one of his friends from planet Tigris, that there was going to be a party and they were both invited.

On planet Tigris, the party was about to begin when Edward and Kate arrived at the floating villa by the white seashores. People from different planets were joining meanwhile they enjoyed the red flower juice they were drinking. Edward was talking to other people and he realized Kate was not next to her. He began to look around and went towards the floating bar next to the party room but she was not there either. Then he caught a glimpse of Adam-holding hands with Kate and kissing each other on the floating couch. He was speechless...

And what is love about anyways? Is it nothing but despair?
