The Higney Award


The Annual Higney Award is an annual award from Anotherealm.com to the writer of the best full length fiction of the past year as chosen by popular vote in honor of our Fiction Editor Gene-Michael Higney (1949-2003). The cash award is raised by donations received from our readers in appreciation of the stories that our writers present.




The winner for 2006 and the USD$ 100.00 is Ahmed A. Khan for his story "Seventh Sense"

    2005 seemed to be a tough year for everybody. We never did get prize money together so we passed on the award that year
